We’re a collective of music industry and tech veterans. We have a diverse and an extraordinary variety of expertise. Here’s a little about each of us:

Kara McGraw (Data Architect, Data Analysis, and Reporting)

Kara has been nicknamed “The Analytics Brain” at Sarathan. Since her arrival at Sarathan Records many years ago, she has built the SOS databases of music media contacts from the ground up, in the process developing thousands of relationships with key tastemakers in the music world. Kara is also wired into bloggers, podcasters and Internet radio stations.

Kara is responsible for building and deploying marketing campaigns and providing analyses of campaign successfulness via detailed statistics and reports for our artists and clients. Kara keeps the team organized, efficient, and productive while making sure that all necessary steps are taken to ensure success.

Kara is a songwriter and composer herself, receiving a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Ithaca College School of Music in 2005. During her college years, Kara had the opportunity to score for orchestra, small ensemble, and chorus and to conduct and perform her own works with as many as 44 musicians in a given concert. On January 24, 2009, Kara’s chamber work “Tale of Tam Lin” was premiered at The Seattle Chamber Music Society’s annual Winter Festival at Benaroya Hall, nicknamed the Carnegie Hall of the Pacific Northwest.
